Primary (P1) Registration for International Students
International students can register for Primary 1 (P1) during Phase 3 of the P1 Registration Exercise. This happens after all of the Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents have been allocated a place under the earlier phases for P1.
Two Steps for Primary (P1) Registration
1: Submit an Online Indication of Interest Form
The form will be available here on the MOE website in June each year. After that, you will not be able to register in Phase 3 of the P1 Registration Exercise.
2: Wait for Notification from MOE
MOE will notify you via email in October each year. They will inform you if your child has been offered a P1 seat. If yes, they will also inform you on how to register in Phase 3 with the designated school. Then, the school will notify you if your child needs to report to the designated school with documents required for verification.
Again, Phase 3 registration is only conducted after all Singaporean and PR have been granted seats. To prevent confusion, you can also check when your child is eligible for P1 registration here.
