The AEIS registration in 2022 will start in July 2022. For international students who are interested in studying in Singapore, the AEIS Exam 2022 will be conducted in September 2022 or November 2022.

Who Should Sit for AEIS Exam 2022?
The AEIS is for international students seeking admissions to Primary 2 to Primary 5 (P2 to P5) and Secondary 1 to Secondary 3 (Sec 1 to Sec 3) in the next academic year (which is 2023).
Therefore, they should register for AIES Exam 2022 and pass to enroll in 2023. You can submit your application in July 2022 but it may close early when all places for AEIS Exam 2022 are filled.
How to Apply Online?
- First, you have to submit an online application with a valid email address.
- Then, make payment online using debit or credit card. Other payment options are NETS and PayNow. For PayNow payment, you will receive an email with PayNow QR code to make payment. As for NETS, you will have to visit Customer Service Centre with appointment made at least 2 days before. To make appointment using MOE E-appointment service, click here.
- Next, email your child’s birth certificate and passport in PDF or JPG format to seab_as@seab.gov.sg within 7 days. For the title of email, you can put your child’s name as per passport. The passport validity has to be at least 6 months or more. As for birth certificates in other languages, please provide an English translated copy.
- Lastly, sit back and relax. You will receive an official email notification from the Singapore Examinations & Assessment Board (SEAB) by early September 2022. The email will contain the AEIS entry proof, applicant’s details, index number, exam timetable & vanue as well as other instructions.
Similar to 2021, the AEIS fee is S$ 672 for AEIS Registration 2022. Please take note that the fees are non-refundable. Once your child’s application is successful, he/she can start preparing for the AEIS Exam 2022.
